Conferences
EYP Ireland runs five conferences during its calendar year; four Regional and one National conference. We also aim to hold hold outreach events online and small scale events throughout the term. The four regionals are open to all senior cycle students in the designated region depending on the session and it is from these that delegates will be selected to attend the National Conference.
These conferences take place over a full weekend i.e. Friday afternoon, all-day Saturday and all-day Sunday, with the National Conference beginning on a thursday afternoon and ending on Sunday evening (i.e. 4 days). It is important that delegates are in attendance for all days of the session. Three of the Regionals (Munster, Connaught-Ulster and Leinster) as well as the National Conference, are residential sessions, i.e. accommodation will be provided for Delegates for Friday and Saturday night, while the Dublin Regional Session is non-residential and delegates will return home at the end of each day. How to prepare for a Conference can be found in the Student section. If you missed the regional conference in your area and are still interested attending, contact the Head Organiser of one of the other regional conferences. Contact details can be found in the Contact section. Information for teachers can be also found in the Teacher section. |
