National Committee
The European Youth Parliament Ireland is run by a National Committee (NC), which is elected on a yearly basis by the members of the EYP Ireland at our AGM in April. The NC has a meeting every two weeks and is comprised of 9 members, each of whom have a different role to carry out. The governance of EYP Ireland is done in accordance with the constitution and policies of EYP Ireland, which may only be altered at a general meeting of its members. Additionally, there are a number of sub-committees and working groups that support EYP Ireland's work, including, inter alia, our Head-Organisers of each of our conferences, a media sub-committee to assist with the media output of our organisation and an events sub-committee to assist with running events for our members over the year.

President | Henry O'Riordan
The President organises, chairs and records the minutes of our meetings, helping to set a direction for the organisation as a whole. They also represent EYP Ireland at meetings with EYP international.
Vice President | David Cronin
The Vice President is responsible for the administrative tasks for the National Committee such as the recording of meetings and detailing the work of the President of the National Committee while also promoting opportunities to the members base.
Treasurer | Éabha Murphy
The Treasurer is in charge of all things financial. They draw up our accounts at the start of each year, budgeting and divvying up our funds between our numerous events and ensuring that we have enough funding and sponsorship to continue our activities.
Communications Officer | Faustyna Long
The Communications Officer is responsible for maintaining the social media and external appearance of EYP Ireland. It is their responsibility to design the graphics, logos and any other output of EYP Ireland. They are also responsible for coordinating with the leader of each events media team, as well as maintaining any digital databases or emails of EYP Ireland.
Conference Co-Ordinator (f.k.a CHOC) | Róisín Ní Chadhla
Our Conference Co-Ordinator is responsible for liasing with the Head-Organiser subcommittee to ensure our events run as smoothly as possible. With this, the Conference Co-Ordinator maintains a supportive role for the Head-Organisers while updating the rest of the National Committee with each events progress.
Human Resources Officer | Aoife Doyle
Our Human Resources officer manages the consistent, transparent and fair selection process for the volunteers running the events in our organisation.
Fundraising Officer | Anya Wilson
The Fundraising Officer maintains the external image of the organisation, and deals with any matters concerning the press and media. They are also in charge of developing and implementing the organisation's fundraising strategy.
International Officer | Anjelica Foley
The International Officer represents EYP Ireland at the Board of National Committees, which is in charge of policy and recommendations for the entire network. They are our voice for international issues, and liaise with officials from outside of Ireland at our events.
Membership Officer |
The Membership Officer organises the informal events run by EYP Ireland. They, with the International Officer, organise our annual members' training weekend as well as our volunteer welcome event, alongside a plethora of events for our volunteers. They also coordinate the work of the Events Sub-Committee. They also manage the onboarding and training of our new members each year, engaging them in our mentor programme and creating training resources.
Head Organiser Sub-Committee
Our Head Organisers are in charge of organising their respective sessions. They lead a team of organisers who are responsible for securing venues, accommodation and the various other aspects that lead to a smooth running session.
